Closely Watched Trains

From Goodreads

Closely Watched Trains
Bohumil Hrabal

I enjoyed Closely Watched Trains more than Dancing Lessons for the Advanced in Age. Mainly, I enjoyed the former more than the latter because the former was written using more conventional punctuation. Hrabal combines absurdity and hilarious notions to highlight life during wartime and the success of resistance. It's poignant, dark and full of life. I thought it was a great book and I think I'd like to watch the movie.
