To solve the problem of languages, the traveler understands all other languages because as he is out of body he doesn't have the interference of ears. Without the physical limitations of ears he can understand all languages. Without the physical interference of a tongue he can speak all languages. When he retrieves his body we will have to figure something out, but this solves the immediate problem.
